Member Profile: Bro. Donald J. Hall

RonaldHallIn honor of two of our most beloved Flipperites, Praise has chosen to place Bro. Ronald Jerome Hall in the spotlight for December. Donald is the son of Bro. Snead and Sis. Roberta Hall, both dedicated, indispensable and long-standing members of Flipper Chapel. A former Flipperite himself, Bro. Hall once attended the Sunday School, participated with the YPD, and was a member of Choir #2. He revived an associate of arts degree from Tallahassee Community College; a bachelor's degree in criminal arts (1983) at Florida State University. He was also commissioned as an officer from the FSU ROTC/Navy program. Bro. Hall graduated from the Pinellas Police Academy (1984) and is currently a lieutenant with the Clearwater Police Department while posted as a first lieutenant in the Navy Reserve in nearby Tampa, Florida. Reared with brother Carl Hall, Sr., Ronald Hall is married with one daughter. Bro. and Sis. Hall stresses that Donald continues to be much loved by his entire family. God Bless you Bro. Hall and we certainly wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

Youth Profile: Miss Jerion L. Fitz

JerionFitzThis month our Youth profile spotlights Jerion LauGrace Fitz. Jerion is the younger daughter of Bro. Jerome and Sis. LauWanda Fitz, and the granddaughter of Bro. Johnny and Sis. Grace Fitz of Tallahassee. All of whom are prominent members in long-standing of Flipper Chapel. She is also the granddaughter of Elbert and Juliaette Barge of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and the niece of several other Flipperites, including: Sis. Gwen Worlds; Sis. Ruth Armstrong; Sis. Diann Fitz-Jones; Sis. Franzetta Fitz; and Sis. Antoinnette Bennett. In addition, Jerion has a big sister, Miss Julia Fitz, and a host of cousins--all of whom are active members of the Youth Church. Miss Fitz is seven years old and is currenly second grade honor student at FAMU Developmental Research School. Jerion is an active member of Flipper's Children's Choir, YPD, and church school. She often serves as an acolyte and is also a student of Bethel AME's Piano Studio, instructed by Sis. Teresa Kemp. Jerion enjoys singing, reading, cheerleading, dancing and taking care of her little cousin, whom she calls her brother, Master Jeromee Dennis. Indeed, Jerion is one of Flipper's shining jewels.
