HIVCounselingHIV and AIDS Counseling

The HIV Prevention Community Planning Group of Jackson State University and Shisa, North Florida's leading agency for minority health and employment education, is sponsoring a two-day course in the HIV Prevention and Community Planning Process to be held on May 23-24 at the Hartman Building, 2012 Capital Circle SE, in Conference Room 317. The cource will help attendees gain leadership skills that strengthen their abilty to increase the number of people and organizations who participate in the HIV Prevention Community Planning Process and learn how to increase and diversify African American participation, strengthen skills, promote stronger linkages between African Americans in the region, and create new strategies for collaboration and support. The Leon County Chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association invites all members, alumni and freinds to the 2001 general Membership Meeting to be held Tuesday, May 15 at the FAMU Falculty Clubhouse on South Adams. Beginning at 6pm, the meeting will feature outgoing Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. James Ammons as the special guest. Dr. Ammons will be departing FAMU to assume the chancellorship of North Carolina Central University.
