On Friday, August 24 at 7pm the Jubilee Hospitality Commitee, chaired by Sis. Grace B. Fitz, and the Jubilee Charitable Donations Committee, chaired by Sis. Chenell Lee, will host Flipper Chapel's very first monthly "Open House Night" in the Fellowship Hall. Billed as a chance for we Flipperites to open our hearts and display our sincere commitment to be a viable contributer to the surrounding community's wellness and success, Open House Night will tout a home-cooked meal, free to the general public (donations appreciated), a moment of devotion, and the establishment of Flipper's own "Outreach Bazaar", whereby much needed clothing, furnishings, and other items will be distributed to needy families in the Bond Community. Flipperites are asked to donate canned goods, old (but wearable) clothes, and any other articles that might bring someone else much needed respite. The planners are also asking that parents, while gathering their childrens' school items this year, purchase a few extra supplies and donate them as well so that needy children in the Bond Community might be well equipped for the coming school year. If you would like to assist or should you need further information please contact either Sis. Fitz or Sis. Lee.
